Vivaldi’s Gloria
Notre Dame Church will host two performances by Chi Hi’s choir and orchestra. Please join them to make your holiday season an extra special one. See the quick guide for more information.
Torte Theatre
Heyde Center for the Arts made the perfect setting for an evening of Holiday music by the orchestra followed by decadent desserts.
Holiday Shopping at Oakwood Mall
Festival of Giving Shoppers who donated $5 (proceeds went to local charities) were able to shop after hours and were also treated to the vocals of the Chi-Hi Madringals. They looked and sounded great as they strolled through the mall.
Fundraisers
This is a trip year: There are many fundraisers available to help earn funds for the trip. Contact G or C for more information. Also keep the trip in mind during your holiday shopping. It will help with ideas for those ‘tough to buy for ‘ people on your list - students and chaperones alike!
Holiday Concert: Because this is a trip year, a $3.00 donation was asked to attend the band holiday concert. Money from tickets that are pre-sold by students will go directly into that student’s “account”. At the door sales will benefit the general fund.
Volunteer Opportunities: CFMA will need volunteers and baked goods for some of the events. Watch your email for more information. Sign up sheets are also sent around at the meetings, so attend them if you can. You can also earn points by attending meetings. If you can’t attend meetings or don’t have email, contact Kristen and she can let you know who you can talk to about a particular event.
Watch you mail!
Tis the season for lots of mail to arrive at your house. Soon you will get the spring volunteer surveys. Please review the events and indicate where you can help. And return them as soon as you can. If is returned at or before the January CFMA meeting, you will earn a bonus point. Remember if you can’t work at the event, food preparation and donations will also help earn points!
